Me & My Thoughts
A year ago my school suffered from the loss of Justice Afoa, a very loved football player so imagine my shock to waking up to finding out history is repeating itself, and this time to a friend of mine.
I woke up to find out that Osana Futi, a senior at Newark Memorial High School, didn’t wake up, and once again I feel the same grief that bubbled over and overflowed out of Newark Memorial Highschool last year and I wonder why this keeps happening to us.
Not 5 days ago Osana wad helping me out with PE clothes for a student, coach sent him into the uniform room with me to help me find an extra large shirt for a particularly big kid. 5 days. In a small frame of 5 days, and I’ll never see my friend again.
Osana had a contagious laugh, always a please and a thank you, a polite mind, a friendly attitude to everyone, and not even the teams who he pummeled during football season could stay mad. Not knowing the details, I do know one thing, Osana will be missed, and he has thousands of people who loved him who will do anything to bring him justice.
RIP Osana, rest in heaven with Justice,.and we’ll fight for you.

My prayers and condolences for Osana and his family. I won’t forget how you made English the best class with all your jokes and all the laughters we all had. You’ll be forever missed, RIP Osana Futi..
Trailer for the upcoming documentary “Bully”, which will be released on March 30th.

brb bawling
I heard there was a lot of controversy over this movie being rated R because kids need to see this movie so they petitioned for it to be changed to PG-13. Anyone know what happened?
^Yes: The MPA rated it R due to “Language”. When a film has five or more expletives, it is beyond the PG-13 rating and becomes R-rated. “Bully” producers got into a huge argument with the MPA over this, after which the MPA has threatened to give the movie an NC-17 rating instead (which, if you’re unfamiliar, means that kids and teens are completely banned from seeing it—with or without adult accompaniment). The producers responded by basically saying, “Well, fine, then we’ll just call it Unrated” — and presently there’s a huge fuss going on between them, but this is all the public knows of it so far.
